The change of the tree leaves happens

during the autumn and winter season as an adaptation to the cold and

the solar light decreases, reducing the energetic expenditure and

nutrient storage.

Symbolizing the renovation, we observe the transition by

the movement of the glass leaves, similar to a frozen time

in the in site installation. Each piece is unique,

produced by the moulding technique from real leaves

from the avocado tree.

Its transparency makes the sight dance, inside and through

the leaves, directing us to the Praça dos Três Poderes

in the back and to the recent memories of the attempt of destruction

of the democracy of our country.

Refers to the memory that resists and persists, in time and

space, and to the will of a fresh start.

The artist explores the antagonistic concept of the material

glass, as it is ate the same time liquid and solid,

fragile and resistant, close and far.

and on mirrors.
