Toten

The process in this art work

resembles to the archeologist.

It is as if I dug up

the work from a recent past,

apocalyptic,

revisiting recent memories.

This is a series of assemblages

produced from found objects,

discarded.

They are daily objects,

food leftovers, packaging.

They are stacked in totens,

almost trophies,

prizing the resistance.

These memories,

transparent and fuzzy,

confuses itself in the real.

Lostwax Technique.

The objects, packaging and

discarded vegetables go through

the moulding process.

Once ready,

the moulds are charged with wax.

The hardened wax object is

covered with refractory plaster.

The wax is taken out by

water vapour.

The plaster moulds are then

charged with glass pieces.

They go to the furnace for 8 hours

in 880 degrees Celsius.

After a week of cooling down

the plaster is removed,

and the piece goes through processes of

cold working techniques

and sand bast.
